This is a heavy-duty hot rolled steel mailbox designed to naturally rust and form a warm, rustic patina over time. It features the same construction quality, fully welded seams, and extra-large capacity as our premium Corten model—offered at a more affordable price point while still providing decades of durability.
Your mailbox will be delivered fully assembled, made from thick structural steel, and built in Fort Worth, Texas.
The brushed stainless steel lettering and mailbox flag both stand out beautifully against the natural rust finish.
The door is secured with strong magnets, and the extended handle makes it easy for both the mail carrier and the homeowner to access the interior.
Designed to be anchored to a concrete pad. If needed, we can include the recommended pad dimensions and installation details for your contractor—just ask and we’ll include them.

Material Notes — Hot Rolled Steel:
This version is made from standard hot rolled structural steel, which patinas naturally when outdoors.
It will arrive as clean, raw steel and will begin developing a deep rust finish once exposed to weather.
The appearance is very similar to Corten; Corten simply rusts more slowly. If you'd like, we can provide our patina-accelerator recipe so you can see the rust finish in hours rather than months.
🚚 Shipping — Now Palletized Freight Only
To ensure your mailbox arrives in perfect condition, we now ship every unit on a pallet via LTL freight, not UPS or parcel carriers.
Your shipment includes:
- Residential delivery
- Liftgate service
- Palletized shipment
- Full insurance coverage
Once fabrication is complete, we schedule the freight pickup and provide tracking.
Most freight deliveries arrive 3–8 business days after pickup depending on location.
If you live in a rural area or have special delivery requirements, please contact us so we can ensure a smooth delivery.
⏱️ Lead Time
Please allow up to 3 weeks for fabrication and freight scheduling.
Many orders ship sooner, but 3 weeks is our standard quoted window for the hot-rolled version.
Custom address numbers or special requests may extend the timeline slightly.

🔄 Returns & Policies
We cannot accept returns for any mailbox with customized numbers or other custom fabrication, as customized units cannot be resold.
We do accept returns for standard, non-customized mailboxes, but return shipping and restocking fees apply.
If any defect or issue occurs during shipping, we will repair or replace the item.
